This policy explains the small amount of browser storage SproutKid uses. We keep this deliberately minimal: we use no advertising cookies, no third-party tracking, and no analytics by default.

The sproutkid_sess cookie is marked HTTP-only and is sent only to SproutKid over a secure
connection. Local-storage items stay on your device and are not sent to advertising networks.
3. Do we need your consent?
Strictly-necessary storage that is required to provide a service you have asked for — such as keeping you signed in — does not require consent under ePrivacy and Swiss rules, because the service would not work without it. We do not currently use any optional or advertising cookies. If we ever add analytics or other non-essential storage, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
4. Cookies set by our payment provider
When you pay, you are taken to the secure pages of our payment provider, Payrexx, which may set its own cookies needed to process the payment. Those are governed by Payrexx's own cookie and privacy notices at payrexx.com.
5. How to control storage
You can clear or block cookies and local storage through your browser settings, and you can sign out of
SproutKid at any time to end your session. Blocking the sproutkid_sess cookie will stop you from
being able to stay signed in, so the app will not work as intended.
